Nestled within the rolling landscape of Silicon Valley’s Los Altos Hills neighborhood, Superviolet undertook this full home rebuild to create a peaceful revitalized retreat that blends contemporary living with the natural character of its surroundings. Defined by long, sweeping horizontal layers of stucco, stone, and wood to integrate within the highly curated landscape.
The design carefully preserves the site’s mature tree site lines, allowing the home to settle gracefully into its wooded setting rather than dominate it. Expansive glazing, natural materials, and thoughtful transitions between indoor and outdoor spaces create a serene environment.
With an approximately 6,000 square feet footprint, the residence prioritizes sustainability, comfort, and a deep sense of place. Passive design strategies, durable materials, and a strong connection to nature support a home that feels both grounded and enduring—an inviting sanctuary designed for generations to come.
